This Privacy Policy explains how Voice Convert (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use https://voiceconvert.si (the “Website”) and its tools. We designed our tools to collect as little data as possible.
1. Summary
- We do not require an account and do not ask for your name or email to use any tool.
- The Voice Recorder, Voice Changer, MP4 to MP3 and Audio Converter tools process audio and files locally in your browser. Your recordings and files are not uploaded to our server.
- We do not store the text you dictate or type into our tools.
2. Voice to Text and Text to Speech
Our Voice to Text and Bangla Voice to Text tools use the speech recognition feature built into your web browser (the Web Speech API). Depending on your browser, your speech may be sent to the browser provider’s speech service to be converted into text (for example, Google when using Chrome, Microsoft when using Edge, or Apple when using Safari). That processing is governed by your browser provider’s privacy policy, not by us. Voice Convert does not receive, record or store this audio or the resulting text.
Text to Speech uses the voices installed in your device or browser. Some “online” or “natural” voices may be provided by your browser vendor over the internet. We do not receive or store the text you enter.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting server may automatically record standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to keep the Website secure and working properly and is kept only for a limited period. Some code libraries (such as the MP3 encoder) are loaded from a content delivery network (cdnjs, operated by Cloudflare), which may also see your IP address when delivering the file.
4. Cookies
Our tools do not require cookies to work. If we add analytics or advertising services in the future, those services may use cookies, and we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy and ask for your consent where required by law.
5. Advertising and third-party services
If we display advertisements (for example, through Google AdSense), third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites linked from our Website.
6. Emails you send us
If you contact us by email, we will use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we will not share them with third parties for marketing.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. 8. Children’s privacy
Our Website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
